A CPLD (Complex Programmable Logic Device) is a high-capacity programmable logic device that enables more complex circuit designs than traditional PLDs. It can even be used to design CPUs! In digital logic circuit IC design, CPLD integrates complex circuits into a single chip, reducing wiring errors and component wastage common in traditional designs.
